The old TweetDeck did all of these things in one step. Now if I want to post a link on Twitter, I have to go to a separate site to shorten the link, then tweet it, then post to Facebook right after that. TweetDeck is a Twitter client for Android phones that comes along with the most advanced functions, much better than the official app of this social network. There was honestly nothing wrong with it and I loved the fact it took care of everything. 7/10 (5 votes) - Download TweetDeck Android Free. I really wish Twitter would have not messed with TweetDeck in its old form. But open up ModernDeck's settings panel and you can swap between 5 themes, a dozen accent colors and a handful of fonts. On the old TweetDeck I got 4 columns on the main screen, could pick the colors I liked so it would be something fun as well. With TweetDeck, you're handed basic controls over content and appearance. The new design is in my opinion nothing special. Now I can't even copy and paste a link into my tweets on there. I thought that is what Twitter was honestly all about, and Tweetdeck did it in one easy step. I love finding links to cool things or newsworthy stories and tweeting them to my friends/followers. No more posting of links or link shortening, which is honestly the reason I got it in the first place. Little did I know that the complete redesign is flawed and basically a complete 180 from the previous version. The version number matches my old version of tweetdeck.I downloaded the new TweetDeck for Twitter yesterday. FWIW, there's a version number in my screenshot, maybe that matches your old version? In any case, I can't reproduce this at all, so I'm either using the newer version of TweedDeck or the issue doesn't happen on Linux. ![]() I'm not a Twitter user (just created an account now to test this, which I intend to delete after). I can't say for sure because this is the first time I've used TweetDeck. That looks like the settings I get when I am already on the old version, so are you sure you're not on the old version already? Am I looking at the wrong settings dialog? The new version of TweetDeck is rolling out to a 'limited number of accounts' of randomly selected people in the United States, Canada, and Australia. I can't find a "switch back to the old version" option anywhere (running on Linux). The new version does not have the issue for me either You can get it going into the settings, then tweetdeck version, which will bring up a modal asking you if you want to switch back to the old version. This preview of an improved version of TweetDeck offers enhanced functionality and incorporates more of what you see on. I have the previous version of tweetdeck.
